First Corporate Teambuilding Challenge Takes Off in Naples Area
The Naples and Marco Island area is known for its pristine Gulf beaches, upscale resorts, championship golf and sophisticated downtown. But in addition to all of these great group options, Naples' close proximity to the Everglades provides unique teambuilding opportunities such as canoeing and kayaking, hiking through a cypress swamp and airboating through the Everglades ecosystem.

To showcase all of the natural activities available to groups in this area, the Greater Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention & Visitors Bureau has partnered with the Sports Council of Collier County and Adventure Training Concepts to host the first Paradise Coast Corporate Quest – A Teambuilding Adventure, which will take place on May 30, 2008.

Adventure Training Concepts has designed exciting challenges for this event. Teams of five will travel around Southwest Florida's Paradise Coast in kayaks, bicycles and Segways, racing to find clues that will lead them to success in this ultimate competition.

The top three teams will be awarded a total of $25,000, which, in keeping with corporate social responsibility, will be donated to local charities.

"Honor, trust, communication, leadership, attention to detail and a variety of other training points will all come into play as participants accomplish tasks with their team. All physical capabilities are welcome," said Brian Jones, Adventure Training Concepts CEO.
