Here are some great pre- and post-meeting ideas to share with your attendees
- Watch sea lions perform at Gulf World Marine Park; speed down the "Tree Top Drop" at Shipwreck Island Waterpark; or challenge the kids to a game of mini golf at Coconut Creek Family Fun Park.
- Learn a thing or two while playing with lasers and sound waves at The Junior Museum of Bay County.
- Tour historic buildings, watch a blacksmith at work, and shuck some corn at the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement, a living history museum.
- As the name implies, the beach here is key, and alive with pick-up volleyball games, beach bars, jet skiing, and more. Don't miss walking the white sands of St. Andrews State Park, or taking the shuttle to nearby secluded Shell Island.
- Believe it or not, Panama City is the "Wreck Capital of the South," so don your mask and flippers and go for a dive at one of more than 50 artificial reefs and historic shipwrecks.
- Order a fried grouper sandwich and an ice-cold beer or fruity cocktail at one of the area's lively beach bars, where you can mingle with the locals and swap fish tales.
- After sunset, stick around to dance the night away at the oft-MTV-featured Club LaVela, spring break mecca Spinnaker Beach Club, or a host of other dance, beach, sports, and karaoke clubs that dot the area.
- Take a swing at Bay Point's Nicklaus Course (Jack Nicklaus' first course design in Northwest Florida) or the Lagoon Legends course, which boasts one of the toughest slope ratings in the country. The 27-hole Hombre Golf Course is host to major PGA TOUR events.
