As of February 2009, a rejuvenated and expanded member of the Southernmost Hotel Collection has arrived in Key West. The grand opening of the upscale 80-room Southernmost on the Beach Hotel addition brings the total guest room count up to 270 at of this oceanfront combination of elegance and old Key West charm. Southernmost on the Beach also brings an all-new experience with all-new amenities such as beachfront or in-room spa services, a fitness center fit for a champion, and the Shores Bar, featuring refreshing ocean views.
The Southernmost on the Beach Hotel enhances this one-of-a-kind collection of four distinctive properties, offering an assortment of styles and price points in one beachfront location. Found among tropical foliage and garden pathways where Key West's colorful Duval Street meets the Atlantic, are the 120-room Southernmost Hotel and La Mer Hotel & Dewey House, Key West’s only AAA Four Diamond-rated oceanfront bed and breakfasts. The collection offers groups a choice of well-appointed accommodations within the hotels and upgraded privacy for VIPs among 19 rooms at La Mer or the Dewey House. Groups can take their choice from upscale elegance, Key West casual or luxurious boutique inns, all in one unique Florida Green Lodging certified setting!
Southernmost on the Beach features spacious rooms featuring private balconies, four-star amenities and a unique island experience.
